The oil of cloves is a natural remedy for toothache because it acts as a strong antibacterial, a powerful antiseptic, an analgesic and a weak anaesthetic when applied to teeth. Just soak a cotton ball with clove oil and stick it into the tooth cavity to get temporary relief.
