Arthri-Zen: Joint Supplement

What Is It?
Arthri-Zen is a joint-relief supplement. It was developed by bio-medical engineer, Mark Lubin, when conventional tactics failed to relieve his own joint pain. Nothing like taking matters into your own hands (or knees, or elbows)! Arthri-Zen’s formula is all-natural, composed of five herbal extracts (Juniper, Goldenrod, Dandelion, Meadowsweet, and Willow Bark). The formula also has a patented delivery system which as been shown to get a higher potency of the formula to the bloodstream than similar joint-relief products.

What Do They Say it Does?
The herbal extracts in Arthri-Zen have been used for many thousands of years in cultures around the world and contain compounds that have been noted to work against pain in the following ways:

  • Block pain signals (analgesic action). Three of the herbal extracts in Arthri-Zen interfere with the transmissions of pain signals that result from occasions of discomfort in some muscle or joint tissues.
  • Reduce swelling and inflammation (aquaretic/diuretic action). Two of the botanical compounds help the body shed excess fluids in the affected tissues and three of the active compounds reduce the body’s production of inflammatory substances.

Two independent clinical studies were conducted to test the effectiveness of Arthri-Zen, both of which showed a significant decrease in pain in the study subjects.

Ingredients
Main Ingredients: Grape Extract; Proprietary Blend of Juniper (berry), Goldenrod (flower), Dandelion (leaf), Meadowsweet (herb), Willow (bark).
Other Ingredients: Vegetarian capsule, Magnesium Stearate, Silicon Dioxide, Microcrystalline Cellulose.

What We Like
The Arthri-Zen capsules are vegetarian capsules, which mean that the capsule itself is not made from any animal parts (good news for vegetarians or vegans). The packaging is colorful and eye-appealing, and the bottle itself can be recycled.

What We Don’t Like
The capsules are a bit on the larger side, although the capsule form makes them easier to swallow than non-capsule formulas. The instructions for use are a tad confusing. The outside seal was a bit difficult to open and required a scissors.

As always, check with your doctor before starting any new supplements because there are several options out there. For example, there's also 3-in-1 Joint Formula, C-2 Relief, CapraFlex, Flex Protex and Joint Advance, just to name a few. Overall we think Arthri-Zen Relief is a great supplement, and we give it a 5 rating.
