Fight Stroke with Natural Weight Loss


Do you struggle with your weight? You are not alone in your ongoing battle of the bulge. A new study reported by the American Stroke Association states that rising obesity rates have been linked to more strokes among women aged 35 to 54. The researchers concluded "Abdominal obesity is a known predictor of stroke in women." But if you’re overweight, how is the best way to lose weight and protect yourself from such health threats?

The new study, reported at the American Stroke Association's International Stroke Conference 2008, also states that "Abdominal obesity may be a key factor in the midlife stroke surge in women." According to Amytis Towfighi, M.D., an assistant professor in the Neurology Department at the University of Southern California in Los Angeles, "This study highlights the need to intensify efforts in curbing the obesity epidemic in the United States."

Dieting, weight loss, and maintaining a proper weight is a struggle for most people.  But, finding a natural way to deal with does not have to be such a struggle. Unfortunately, however, with today's fast-paced society, bad eating and even worse exercise habits, many people rely on gimmicky medicines and ads that promise staggering weight loss results without any effort.
